DOMINIC VINCENT
Initially starting out as an industrial computer programmer, Dominic started his visual effects career as a 3D generalist at Big Bang animation. Quickly spotting his immense talent, Ubisoft Cinematic Department picked him up where he developed as a character animator for three years, working with some of Pixar's top animators. Heeding the call for a more informal and creative environment, Dominic spent the next two years working mainly as a freelancer on a variety of creative projects, including branding for YTV and Teletoon, and various commercial and corporate presentations for clients as diverse as Grand Prix Montreal, Heineken, Red Bull, Pfizer, Pronosticos (Mexico) and Suzuki (Mexico), and the television series Sanctuary. He also produce and directed two artistic videos; Embryo and Osmoze. Both world reknowed and featured in many festivals around the world. Embryo was the first HD film to be presented at the international Fantasia Film Festival in Montreal. Dominic then moved on to Technicolor, where he spent about 18 months working as a Lead 3D artist on several commercial and feature film projects including Borderline, Polytechnique, and La Cite Des Anges and many Mexican projects. Traveling from Hollywood to Mexico to Japan, Dominic grew a unique vision in term of photography and visual effects. He's now working as a visual effect supervisor at Fake Studio located in old Montreal. |
